A Little About Me
My story begins in a small fishing village in the Westfjords of Iceland, nestled between towering mountains and the endless ocean. With only 360 people in the community, life was built on trust—doors were never locked because everyone knew each other. Growing up in this environment taught me the value of hard work and that nothing in life should ever be taken for granted.
I started working in the fish industry at a young age, learning resilience and perseverance firsthand. Later, I served as a police officer, believing that was my future. But as I explored education and new opportunities, I realized the world of technology was where the future was unfolding. That realization changed everything.
In my 30s, I finally graduated with a degree in Computer Science—a milestone that marked not just a career shift but a transformation in how I saw possibility. Today, I'm a digital leader helping organizations embrace innovation and navigate digital transformation, always keeping the human element at the center. I believe technology should feel effortless, intuitive, and bring joy to people's lives.
